In this section, various social activities related to health as well as voluntary activities to promote public health are introduced.
Cooperation with WHO
In 2020, the World Health Organization, in collaboration with the World Bank and the Ministry of
Health of Iran, launched the rapid action against COVID-19 in Iran (ICERP project), which was
implemented in the project of financing the purchase of medical equipment by the World Bank
and the WHO organization. World Health has provided the required equipment by the country’s
medical centers. I am pleased that I was able to contribute to the implementation and
establishment of the WHO’s standards in this project on behalf of Birjand University of Medical
Sciences. Finally, the successful implementation of this project led to the provision of medical
equipment to medical centers for the treatment of COVID-19 disease, as well as faster disease
diagnosis and treatment.
